Song: Song is a rapid buzzing trill with emphasis on the end of the song: "zeea zeea zeea ZEEE zaa zoo" or "zeedle zeedle zeedle ZEET-chee." Call is lower than other black-throated warblers; a dull "tip" or "tep" similar to Yellow-rumped Warbler.
