Virginia Rail - Rallus limicola

Song: Courtship call a shrill, somewhat pig-like "oink--oink---oink--oink--oink-oink-oink" with accelerating tempo like the bouncing of a ball. Also a rapid series of metallic "gid-ick, gid-ick, gid-ick" and a series of "kek" notes, higher pitched and more nasal than King Rail.
